Interested In Learning More About The Catholic Church?
RCIA is a process by which adults come into the Catholic Church. This process has come to be known as “RCIA”, which is short for “The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.”

The process of RCIA forms a community of inquirers, sponsors and guides moving through the education, formation and ritualization of entrance into the Catholic community, whereby those interested in learning about the Catholic faith come together on a weekly basis to learn about the scriptures and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and at the same time, to discover where God is present in their lives.

RCIA will begin on September 10, 2020, and will meet for 26 weeks, on Thursday nights from 7:00-9:00 PM in Fr. Foley Hall on the parish campus of St. Ann Catholic Church, 113 South Kemp Street, Florence, S.C.

  • The schedule for weekly classes will be given at the first meeting.

  • All parishioners are invited to attend the classes along with the candidates.

  • All participants are required to wear facemasks (mandatory) and we practice social distancing per diocesan policies.

  • For more information, contact the St. Ann Parish Office, 832.661.5012 or Deacon Bob Cox at 843-621-1084.
